Jordan



Working out with Mike was such a fantastic experience. Everyone there is super supportive and it makes for such a great atmosphere. The workouts were difficult but it was fun to challenge myself, with Mike doing it a little more adamantly in the background, to see just how much I could do! Not going to lie, I felt like I was going to throw up a few times, but the experience that I had made it all worth it.

I have been a competitive athlete and working with personal trainers from the age of 11! I competed in tennis nationally, internationally and played in college at BYU and was always very serious about both training and my diet! I even have my Mater's Degree in Exercise Science! However, after finishing school and my "competitive" tennis career and serving an LDS mission, I sort of lost the motivation to stay in "great" shape even though I am currently teaching tennis as my career! I have known Mike for a few years now and have been working with him almost as long! I am impressed with his knowledge about the human body! Because of my background, I am very picky about my trainers! I don't like "lopsided" trainers who only know the field from one aspect (ex. just experience, just schooling or just the physical/workout side, just diet, etc!)


Mike has the experience of a competitive athlete, the education to be a trainer and he knows that both the physical workout and diet are important to achieving your goals! He doesn't put you on some diet fad.....you eat regular, healthy food and he is very understanding and accommodating to each individual body and any injuries!


I love my results with Mike and I send anyone I teach (especially my up and coming "stars") to him for their training! I even had one girl I teach who, played for a Division 1 University, was disappointed because she didn't like the trainer there as much as she liked Mike!


I would recommend him to anyone!

My family has been working with Mike for 2 years now and we have seen amazing results in that time. We have never felt stronger or healthier. Mike is very knowledgeable and passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm he brings to every training session. He is  easy going, friendly and has a way of creating a comfortable atmosphere for his clients.  He makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! He is an outstanding master of his craft, and incredibly bright with a treasure trove of health and fitness knowledge. Thank you so much for everything you do for our family. Kenna


Getting in shape is not just for the young, but the young at heart too. I never thought I could lose the weight and thought I was too old to accomplish much but, thanks to Mike, I went from a size 15 to a size 8. I feel better, have more energy and love to exercise now!

I have been with Mike for about two years, and I love training with him. Eight months ago I was trying to get stronger for the upcoming basketball season. I weighed about 180 lbs, and Mike put me on an eating schedule and we started working out harder. Within five months, I had made the team and already weighed 160 lbs. Since then we have been doing strength training to get me bigger, faster, and stronger. He has also started working with my sister, Amy, and for the past two weeks we have been getting trained together which is fun.

He is a great trainer and friend and I'm so glad for all he's done for me.

From the first session with Mike I have realized the importance of working with a knowledgeable trainer that practices what he preaches. I consider myself an athletic guy and I spend on average 1 sometimes 2 hours at the gym. During my customized workouts with Mike I'm seriously amazed that with minutes I'm feeling the exhaustion and burn let alone all 30 minutes of the workout. Mike frustratingly humbles me to I realize I am not as fit as I would like to assume I am with his customized combination of seemingly simple exercises (Some are extremely difficult) he puts together for me and creates a full body work out focused on muscle functionality and strengthening. He keeps your core and heart rate engaged throughout, toning, ripping, building, slimming or flattening your body and pushing your mind and body to its brink as he continues to layer the workouts and muscle groups together. He designs diet plans for your success and his specific workouts allow muscles no room to develop a familiarity, constant muscle confusion. Which in turn produces results.

Michael truly has a heart of gold and cares for the clients he works with. He is engaged in your session focused on you, your form and your safety as he motivates you to strive for greatness in yourself. Mike loves what he does. Training is in his blood. It's his life's calling and he enjoys training all ages from youth to adults. His knowledge of the body is a huge factor as he changes his workouts to heighten the Athlete's overall skills. My twin boys will be trained by Mike. Count on it. I highly, highly recommend taking time to work with Mike! He is topnotch with years of experience and education. He will mold you into the specimen you desire from yourself. Your job is to show up and follow his instructions during the session and throughout the weeks and months, years even. Mike has been and always will be my recommended trainer for all.

Mike has been a lifesaver for me.  I have always enjoyed working out, but when I became pregnant with my twins I had some early complications that kept me from doing anything more than slow walks for the duration of the pregnancy.  My pregnancy weight peaked at 186 lbs at 39 weeks and went to 166 immediately after I had the babies.  I had 33 lbs to lose and not a lot of motivation.  I began doing workouts with Mike and he was able to target all the "problem" areas as well as get me motivated and back to enjoying work outs.  He pushes you past what you think you can handle, but it is just right for what your body can handle.  Now that I know how to push beyond what I think are my limits, I've become mentally stronger and even completed the Spartan Beast, which is a 13 mile race with 27 hard obstacles and 5 mountains to hike up and down.  I had the endurance, strength and mental focus to actually enjoy myself during such an intense race.  I am back to my normal weight of 133 and am very grateful to Mike and his expertise for helping me get there.

Teenagers



Training has helped me tremendously, I have gotten more explosive, quicker, and stronger.  I have put on muscle mass while having fun doing it.  I look forward to it every week. It's intense and always worth going to, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get fit.

I've been working with Mike for 5 months, and since I started, I have gotten a lot quicker and stronger. I have been able to compete better in basketball. I can guard quicker and stronger players that i wouldn't have been able to before. Mikes workout are challenging but you can see the results. I am better mentally and physically. My training experience with Mike has been superb. I have felt a big difference in my speed, agility, strength, and muscle mass. Along with that, my performance in my high school basketball has improved tremendously. I can jump higher, move quicker and am more powerful at the rim. As a Harvard trained medical scientist I chose to train with Michael due to the scientifically proven effectiveness of his training regime. Using the powerful combination of strength and interval cardio training one is able to quickly change their body composition, while also increasing their basal metabolic rate. In addition to his powerful workouts he is also able to motivate one by understanding one's true limits and pushing them to those limits.  Best decision in my workouts has been to train with Mike.

I have been training with Mike for just over six months and I'm in the best shape of my life! That is saying a lot for a 35 year old mom of four who used to be a high school athlete. Mike helped me reach my goal weight in three months. I had a six month old baby when I started and needed to work off the baby weight. With Mike's training and diet plan my body transformed into what I always dreamed it would be. Mikes work outs are efficient and effective. He knows how to work the problem areas to get the results you want. As a busy mom, I don't have time to waste. My time at the gym with Mike is never spent waiting for equipment or standing around. We work the whole time and it pays off! I feel amazing!
